Ratan Tata says reports of health concerns are baseless: I am perfectly healthy

86-year-old Ratan Tata was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital for age-related medical check-up. He clarified that there is nothing to worry about his health and urged the public and media to avoid spreading misinformation.

Ratan Tata hospitalised in Breach Candy Hospital

Former Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Monday.

 Soon after his hospitalisation, Ratan Tata issued a clarification about his health. The veteran industrialist said there is nothing to worry about his health and he is undergoing check-ups for age-related medical conditions.

 Terming reports of his hospitalisation to a Mumbai hospital as "rumours", the 86-year-old Tata in a post on social media platform X said, "These claims are baseless".

 "I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age-related medical conditions," he said. "There is no reason to worry. I am in a good mood," he said, urging the public and the media to avoid "spreading misinformation".
