Those who blink more than 15 times in a minute, i.e. excessive blinking, should read this
How many times have you blinked in 1 minute? Now you will say, what is this question? Is it a count? We have blinked as many times as everyone has blinked. If your answer is the same then you are wrong. Some people blink very rarely and some others. There are a lot of people and it is not random. There is a strong reason behind it.

Many times it is an indication of some disease or condition. Why does this happen? In this article of Health. We will understand from the doctor that how many times does a common man count in 1 minute? Blinking occurs more often. What are the reasons behind blinking and after all, what is the treatment for more or less blinking?
How many times does a person blink in a minute?
According to DR. Kadam Nagpal (Senior
Consultant, Neurology Salubritas Medcentre) the normal rate of blinking of
eyelids is usually 12 to 15 times per minute, so we see many patients who blink
frequently, so we look at the reasons for blinking . first it is
understood that whether the blink rate is high or low, then there are many
problems in which the blink rate decreases. We call reduced blink rate which indicates a
disease that may occur.
It is possible that the patient may be suffering from a disease called Parkinson's or Parkinson's but in such cases, it is seen that the blink rate of many patients increases. Some patients have frequent blinking.
What are the reasons behind blinking too much?
We will find out the reasons for frequent blinking. Let's divide it into three categories. The first category is that if this rate of blinking is due to some eye cause, which we call ocular causes in our language or there is some infection in the eye or if there is any dirt or any kind of swelling of the eyes due to which the blinking rate of the eyes increases, then we call it primary ocular causes along with some such reasons also. These are voluntary and under the control of the patient and yet the patient blinks repeatedly which we call habit spasms or tics in our language.
Habit spasms and tics usually
occur in children and adolescents. It is
seen more in adults and patients do it again and again. It is under their
voluntary control. It is under their control but when they do it, it completes
the habit spasms and completes the tics then they get a sense of relief.
Is also found but this is such a
thing that the patient can control this thing, it is under his voluntary
control. Similarly, there is a similar problem which is an involuntary eye
blinking which we call blepharospasm. Blepharospasm can also
occur in one eye. But mostly this is seen in both the eyes only.
So when this Blepharospasm occurs in both the eyes, it has such a forceful eye
closure that the patient feels as if the eyes are closing on their own. He may be taking interest in any work or
completing the work then suddenly his eyes close and do not open again. After
that, often these patients feel as if they are driving or walking
somewhere. It creates a problem in it,
then the patients always say that doctor, our eyes close suddenly and close in
such a way that there is difficulty in opening them again.

Treatment
So the person does not pay much
attention to the blinking but if you feel that you are blinking too much or too
little then definitely consult a doctor because it points towards some disease
or condition.
